StandaloneHQ is a planning tool and a set of guides. It is not the manufacturer’s manual, it is not your tuner, and it has not seen your car. Use it to get to a shortlist and a connection sheet faster than you would on paper; then check every pin against the documentation for your exact ECU and revision before you wire anything.
The short version
- Verify before wiring. Pin assignments, driver types, trigger inputs and current ratings in the planner are transcribed from manufacturer documents and can contain errors or lag behind hardware revisions. The manual for your ECU wins every disagreement.
- No warranty. The planner and guides are provided as-is, with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular build. If a wrong pin costs you an ECU, a coil, or an afternoon, that is on the wiring, not on the website.
- Your responsibility. Engine wiring carries real risks: fire, damaged electronics, engines that run badly or not at all. Only you and the people you pay know your car. Decisions and consequences are yours.
- Not affiliated. ECU brands and product names (Haltech, Link, MoTeC, ECUMaster, AEM, FuelTech, Holley, MaxxECU, Speeduino and others) are the trademarks of their owners. StandaloneHQ is independent and is not endorsed by any of them.
- Content. The guides are original work and may be quoted briefly with a link back. Please do not republish them wholesale.

Corrections
If you find an error, tell us with the ECU model, revision and the page of the manual that says otherwise. It gets fixed, and the next builder benefits.
