Nissan SR: what the engine asks of an ECU

The SR20DET uses the same style of optical CAS as the RB, read as two Hall-type inputs. The S13 and S14 run dumb coils and the S15 runs smart ones.

The S14 and S15 add intake cam phasing.

Where this comes from

A figure like 58x is pulses per crank revolution from one sensor. It is a rate, not a sensor count, and it does not say whether the sensor is VR or Hall.
